4. USAA Southeast Regional Office – Tampa – 1,215 jobs created – $162.8 million investment
5. Healthplan Holdings – Tampa – 1,025 jobs created – $4.2 million investment
6. Northrop Grumman  – Melbourne – 1,000 jobs created – $69 million investment
7. Verizon – Lake Mary – 750 jobs created – $50 million investment
8. Comprehensive Health Management, Inc. – Tampa – 700 jobs created – $2 million investment
9. The Hertz Corp. – Estero – 700 jobs created – $68.7 million investment
10. Bristol-Myers Squibb – Tampa – 579 jobs created – $21.2 million investment

According to Area Development, “Florida’s economy is carrying on where it left off in 2013 — with some of the best job growth in the nation. The number of competitive jobs projects won by Florida during fiscal year 2013 jumped almost 25 percent over fiscal year 2012, creating 41 percent more private-sector jobs and nearly 30 percent more capital investments.”
